Untimely to depose the president

No matter how many among you are calling for the president's resignation, it will not happen. Not yet, anyway.
Whether you like BBM less than you love VP Sara, the nation today is not in the mood to undertake an extra-constitutional process of ousting a duly-elected president. Most Filipinos are compelled to bite the bullet which is BBM, rather than risk being eaten alive by a more scheming vice president.
In recent history, a number of heads of states and heads of government have been deposed either through impeachment, or by extra-constitutional processes through people's uprising. In Peru, President Pedro Castillo attempted to dissolve the parliament in 2022 but the country's legislative body impeached him for rebellion. Castillo was arrested while heading to seek asylum in the Mexican Embassy in Lima. Vice President Dina Boluarte was sworn in as acting president on December 7, 2022. She stayed in office only up to the expiration of Castillo's term.
