The Freeman
|August 25, 2025
Education Secretary Sonny Angara pushes for the public release of school-level education data, dubbed as the “Paaralang Bukas Dashboard,” to empower parents, teachers, local governments, and civil society with deeper insights into the state of learning across the country.
-
According to the Department of Education (DepEd) the Paaralang Bukas Dashboard is a nationwide data transparency portal designed to bridge government investments in education with active citizen participation.
“This is more than just a database,” Angara said. “It’s a tool for collective problem-solving and opportunity-building for our youth. School data should be visible to all.”
