Dr. Joey Rivamonte has officially assumed his post as President of Mandaue City College (MCC) following confirmation of his appointment by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
The formal investiture ceremony was held on October 27, 2025.
In his speech, Rivamonte underscored the college's vital role in shaping future professionals and leaders, describing the event as a milestone for the entire MCC community.
"This moment is not just about me; it represents every student who enters Mandaue City College with hope," he said. "MCC is a transforming institution—one that opens opportunities beyond the classroom."
Rivamonte said the college is not merely a physical campus but a nurturing space that develops students to become future educators, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders.
"When I look at MCC, I don't just see buildings. I see the faces of future professionals, and a city that believes education is the bridge toward progress," he added.
