R'Cebu pushed to continue

The provincial tourism office is pushing for the continuation and expansion of “R'Cebu”, a flagship program of the Cebu Provincial Government that showcases local products and cultural heritage in partnership with the mall, Robinson's Galleria.

Provincial tourism officer Rowena Montecillo said their office will formally proposed to the current administration that R’Cebu be retained.

“Our office is proposing for this administration to continue R’Cebu. It is where our locals, whose products are produced in the towns, have their outlet,” Montecillo said in an interview.

Montecillo emphasized the importance of the event for micro, small, and medium enterprises in the province.

“Personally, I would recommend it to the governor,” she added.

She also expressed hopes that there will be changes in the scheduling and logistical arrangements of the event.
