In Cebu City, the number of reported deaths climbed to 33.

The death toll from the onslaught of Typhoon Tino across Cebu Province has climbed to 144, with Compostela recording 31 deaths, matching the number of fatalities in Cebu City.

According to the latest situational report from the Cebu Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) as of November 7, Compostela's numbers surged following days of search and retrieval operations.

Liloan remains the hardest-hit municipality, with 36 confirmed deaths, many of whom were either swept away by raging floodwaters or trapped inside their homes at the height of the storm.

Governor Pamela Baricuatro earlier described the flooding in Liloan and nearby areas as the "worst in recent memory," stressing the need for long-term flood-control systems.

Other local government units (LGUs) that recorded fatalities include Mandaue City (14), Balamban (11), Danao City (9), Talisay City (7), Asturias (2), Tabogon (1), Bantayan (1), and Consolacion (1).

Provincial authorities also reported that 67 individuals remain missing. The search continues along the riverbanks and coastal zones of northern Cebu, where rescue divers, volunteers, and local fishermen have been working around the clock.

Meanwhile, 54,632 families or 170,969 individuals across 39 LGUs are currently displaced and taking shelter in 1,061 evacuation centers throughout the province.

The provincial government has been coordinating with national agencies and private donors to augment food, water, and shelter supplies in overcrowded evacuation sites.

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) has raised concerns over the deteriorating condition of health facilities in several municipalities.

Reports from 16 provincial hospitals revealed that power interruptions remain a major concern, with some facilities relying on limited generator power to operate emergency wards.
