P16M drugs headed for Cebu seized from couple

Over P16 million worth of suspected illegal drugs allegedly intended for Cebu was intercepted from two arrested fruit vendors in Barangay Guindapunan, Palo, Leyte, last Friday evening.

According to a report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-7, the said illegal drugs were confiscated from alias "Ana", 23, and his live-in partner and cohort alias “Buding”, 34.
Both are working as fruit vendors, residing in Barangay Poblacion 6, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, and were said to have been renting a place in Leyte for the past two months.
