Ouano rolls out distribution of meds to health centers

Mandaue residents no longer need to go to the City Health Office to access medicines, as these are now available in every barangay health center.
This came after Mandaue City Mayor Thadeo Jovito “Jonkie” Ouano began the distribution of medicines to all 27 barangay health centers yesterday, September 12, 2025.
Mayor Ouano said the initiative is a fulfillment of his campaign promise to bring health services closer to the people.
“Ang atong gisaad, atong gituman kay para kini sa kaayohan sa tanan,” Ouano said.
Ouano recalled that the distribution of P25 million worth of medicines to barangay health centers was one of his campaign promises.
