No documented Filipino casualties in Indonesia landslide

The Philippine Embassy in Indonesia said that no Filipinos have been reported among the casualties following a devastating landslide in Bandung, West Java, which has claimed at least eight lives and 82 more are missing.

In a statement on Saturday, January 24, the embassy said that “no Filipino has been reported to be affected by the incident.”
“The Embassy continues to monitor the situation of Filipinos in the area and hopes that the search and rescue operations of Indonesian authorities will recover more survivors,” the embassy’s statement read.
