LTO-7 summons 'Superman' rider
The Freeman
|February 18, 2026
The Land Transportation Office (LTO-7) has issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) against a motorcycle rider who went viral on social media for performing risky stunts along a public highway and has recommended the revocation of his driver's license.
In a statement, LTO-7 identified the rider as Kyle Econas, the registered owner of a motorcycle bearing plate number G953JZ, after a video circulated online showing him executing reckless maneuvers, including imitating a “Superman” pose while riding and sitting improperly on the motorcycle.
According to the agency, the acts shown in the viral video posed serious risks to the lives and property of other motorists and pedestrians and reflected a disregard for the responsible driving behavior expected of licensed drivers.
