Liloan, Carmen get super health center

|August 27, 2025
Two super health centers have been turned over by Fifth District Rep. Duke Frasco to the towns of Liloan and Carmen on Tuesday, August 26.
-
Frasco considered the completion of the new health facilities as a significant advancement of public healthcare for his constituents in the fifth district.
The ceremonial turnovers were held in Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Liloan, and in Brgy. Poblacion, Carmen, with each center valued at P11.2 million.
Implemented under the Department of Health (DOH) and realized through Frasco’s initiative, the facilities have been officially entrusted to the local government units for operations and service delivery.
The SHCs are designed as community-based healthcare facilities that bring primary care closer to residents. These will provide outpatient consultations, birthing and dental services, diagnostic procedures including X-ray, ultrasound, and laboratory tests, along with pharmacy access.
“Last time we were here, we turned over a new police station for our mountain barangays. Today, we are here again in Sta. Cruz, this time for the turnover of our Super Health Center,” Frasco said in his speech during the Liloan turnover.
He explained that the initiative reflects his vision of decentralizing services so residents no longer need to travel far for basic need
