No man is an island when it comes to being a celebrity. Case in point: James Reid, who credited his team for keeping him on-brand in showbiz while juggling various projects.

- By JANUAR JUNIOR AGUJA

"I have a team that keeps me sane because I wear so many different hats. If it wasn't for them, I would have a meltdown," the Fil-Aussie singer-actor said during a roundtable interview at Radisson Blu Cebu.

"My team has been intentional with the projects I take on, making sure I stay true to who I am as an artist and as an actor. I prefer to work with people who are open to collaboration and who are supportive."

One collaborator that Reid, 32, can count on is Penshoppe, whom he has partnered with as one of its endorsers for six months as of writing. As one of the ambassadors of the Cebuano brand, he was in Cebu City on August 3 for the fashion retailer's "Full Speed Ahead" event at SM City Cebu, where he performed a few songs at the mall's North Wing Atrium before meeting fans at the store alongside Pinoy Big Brother alum Brent Manalo.
