These days --and by that we specifically the holiday season-- the news we often read regarding taxi drivers is about how they refuse to convey some passengers or about how they charge rates far beyond what’s reflected on the meter.

Well, here’s news about a taxi driver, and it’s the feelgood kind.
Randy Gullem of Zircon Taxi has been commended by the city for returning the wallet of a German national visiting Cebu under the care of the Pagtambayayong Foundation. Gullem returned the wallet to the foundation and it told the city government about what happened.
Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival posted about Gullem's good deed on social media.
“Daghang salamat, Mr. Gullem. You are proof that good character makes our city great,” he said.
