World number one Aryna Sabalenka is one player you'd love to lose, or even get lost. Not necessarily because she is from Belarus that enabled Russia to wrongfully invade Ukraine. Exactly why her name is neither preceded nor followed by her flag and country. Tennis does not condone war but allows players to play. She should not be
punished for her country's wrongdoing. She has been quiet about it. Complicit, by inaction or indecision.
Many fans don't like her not because of her country, but because of her. She brags she is yet to play against a foe more powerful than her. Could be, her game is all-out and her serve is almost all in. But how does she explain why she lost two grand slam finals in a row this year? She lost in the slam down under to Madison Keys, who by the way lost to Alex Eala in the Miami Open.
