This year's Kalag-Kalag celebration in Cebu City was peaceful and safe.

This is according to the reports of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) during their two-day assessment of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
“We are happy to announce or report na successful and peaceful ang atoang Kalag-Kalag,” said CCPO information officer Police Captain Charisma Gonzales.
Gonzales attributed the said achievement to the zero reported crimes against persons or properties across Cebu City.
“Ang atoang pag-celebrate sa Kalag-Kalag peaceful ra g’yud siya. Wala tay mga recorded or reported incidents of crimes against persons or property,” she said.
As per Gonzales, the CCPO estimated approximately 21,000 individuals on November 1, while over 24,000 on November 2, who visited public and private cemeteries to honor their departed loved ones.
