Cebu City, rehabilitation center partner to help street dwellers

Street dwellers in Cebu City are expected to bounce back with renewed hope, as FARM Recovery Center Inc., a Department of Healthaccredited drug addiction treatment and rehabilitation facility, has expressed its intent to support the City Government's ongoing reintegration efforts.

In a meeting held at the City Hall, FARM chief executive officer (CEO) Jimmy Clemente met with Mayor Nestor Archival and Cebu City Office for Substance Abuse Prevention (COSAP) to discuss how the center could collaborate with the City Government in rehabilitating libod-suroy or individuals living on the streets, many of whom face substancerelated challenges.
"We had a meaningful discussion on how the City and FARM Recovery Center can work together in providing proper rehabilitation, medical care, and reintegration support for those who need it most," Mayor Archival said.
