Carmen Public Market almost finished

The Carmen Public Market is now nearing completion, marking a major milestone in the district's efforts to modernize public infrastructure and improve local commerce, this according to Cebu 5th District Rep. Duke Frasco.

In a Facebook post, Frasco said the new public market draws inspiration from modern markets abroad while integrating distinctly Cebuano elements.

“Its design was inspired by the public markets I have seen abroad, enriched with the charm of our own red bricks from Liloan and a touch of Titay’s iconic arches,” he said.
