An accident involving two motorcycles in Barangay Cabiangon, Pinamungajan, Cebu, resulted in the death of a judge last Wednesday.

The fatality was identified as Carmela Rosario Pasquin, 41, a presiding judge in the Municipal Circuit Trial Court Branch 14 of Pinamungajan-Aloguinsan.
According to a report in this newspaper, Pasquin was the passenger on a Honda ADV driven by her court processor, Eric Gelizon Lanzarate, when it was hit by a Suzuki Smash heading in the same direction, driven by a 19-year-old who was carrying two passengers.
The collision sent both motorcycles crashing. Pasquin died as a result of the accident while the others suffered various injuries.
