The move will ease daily traffic congestion at the Akurli subway
Kandivali East residents will soon get relief from the daily traffic congestion at the Akurli subway as MP Gopal Shetty has asked Growels 101 Mall to hand over the road, reserved as recreational ground in the development plan (DP), to the BMC. Shetty also directed the mall authorities to immediately open up one of its entry roads, to the size of 60 feet, to connect it with the Western Express Highway (WEH), according to the DP plan. Earlier, this newspaper had reported how the mall succumbed to public pressure and opened the road which it closed for "maintenance".
