Two CR engineers get HC interim relief in Mumbra June 9 tragedy

The Bombay High Court has granted interim relief from arrest to Central Railway engineers, Vishal Dolas and Samar Yadav, accused in the Mumbra train accident, which claimed the lives of five passengers on June 9.

Justice Nitin Borkar asked the police not to take any coercive action against the duo till December 9, while hearing their pre-arrest bail plea.

The two approached the high court through advocates Nitin Gaware Patil and Shantanu Kolhe after their plea was rejected by the Thane sessions court last week.

Public prosecutor Rutuja Ambekar informed the court that the investigation in the case was going underway.
