GO-AHEAD | Commission work can go on
The Supreme Court has stayed a Kerala High Court judgment that declared land at Munambam in Ernakulam district as not belonging to Wadf, ordering all parties to maintain the status quo while allowing a court-appointed commission to continue its work.
The interim order, passed by a bench hearing an appeal filed by the Waqf Protection Forum, puts on hold the high court's findings unti! the apex court examines the matter in detail on January 27, when the case is scheduled for further consideration.
