Protesters from the Bharatiya Janata Party began a day-and-night demonstration outside the state secretariat over allegations of gold misappropriation at the Sabarimala Temple, asserting that the government has shielded senior officials and mismanaged accountability.
The demonstration was inaugurated by BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar around 7 pm, with senior party figures joining the protest.
