Uttar Pradesh, once identified as a major source of workforce migration, is witnessing a historic turnaround under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Over the past eight-and-a-half years, sustained reforms in labour welfare, employment generation, industrial investment and social security have transformed the state's socioeconomic landscape. Migration driven by compulsion is steadily giving way to “reverse migration”, with workers and youth finding viable opportunities within the state and many returning from outside.
