Surjewala's Unpopularity in Siddaramaiah Camp Rising

Ministers in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's camp have been clamouring to replace All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala as the Karnataka in-charge of the party.
The latest cause for Siddaramaiah loyalists to feel aggrieved is Surjewala dismissing the call to replace Deputy CM DK Shivakumar from the post of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president.
They feel Surjewala isn't impartial and favours Shivakumar.
Surjewala had arrived early for the "Jai Bapu, Jai Bheem, Jai Saviddhan" (Victory to Gandhi, Ambedkar and the Constitution) programme which was held on January 21 in Belagavi.
