Residents and members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday staged a unique protest against the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) by performing a pothole pooja on the Warje Ramnagar to Shivne canal road.
The demonstration took place at Ramnagar’s Laxmi Chowk, where commuters have faced dangerous conditions for months. About 20-25 residents joined the ritual, decorating a large pothole with rose petals and flowers to draw attention to the issue.
