A group of teenagers allegedly compelled some students of a Madrasa under Barhat police station limits in Banka district to chant 'Jai Shri Ram'.

Banka Superintendent of Police (SP) Upendra Nath Verma said that four juveniles had been detained for interrogation in connection with it. Earlier, a complaint was lodged by chief maulvi of the Madrasa in connection with the incident. The accused have been booked under sections 126(2), 115 (2), 196, 299, 351 (2), 352/3 (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
