Labour ministry releases draft national employment policy

The labour ministry Wednesday released a draft National Labour and Employment Policy aimed at universal social security, employment and future readiness, and ease of compliance and formalisation.
The ministry has sought feedback on the draft by Oct. 27.
The policy aims to ensure protection, productivity, and participation for every worker, according to the draft. The policy will be implemented in three phases.
