Gujarat education ranked among India’s worst: PARAKH report

Gujarat is ranked among the bottom 10 states in the PARAKH National Survey 2024, released by the Union Education Department.
This finding seriously challenges the state’s high annual spending and official claims of educational reform, highlighting a significant gap between investment and student learning outcomes. The survey assessed over 21 lakh children in subjects including mathematics, science, and language.
