ACCWF urges PM Modi to address retail stress

The Ahmedabad Chamber of Commerce Welfare Foundation (ACCWF) has submitted a detailed representation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the government to address mounting structural stress in India's retail trade sector in the upcoming Union Budget 202-6-27.
The Chamber has highlighted challenges such as compliance complexity, uneven competition and limited access to formal credit, warning that these issues threaten the sustainability of small traders across the country.
