13k Workers, 2,500 Machines Give Momentum to Amaravati

|September 04, 2025
Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Dr. P. Narayana, has strongly countered criticism that no development work is taking place in the state capital region, asserting that Amaravati is one of the safest and most planned capital cities in the country.
Speaking to the media after inspecting ongoing housing projects for officers and employees at Nelapadu, the minister said that "a section of people are deliberately spreading false propaganda that Amaravati exists only in graphics. But those who come here and see the ground realities will understand the scale of the work. The people will not forgive those who are bent on misleading the public."
During his visit, Minister Narayana inspected construction works of gazetted officers' housing (Type-1 and Type-2) and Group-D employees' quarters. He reviewed progress with CRDA engineering officials and representatives of the contracting agencies, instructing them to expedite completion.
