A short spell of rain on Thursday once again exposed the fragile drainage system of Indore, as the newly developed MR-10 below Gandhi Nagar Metro Station road was flooded after receiving only 13.8 mm of rainfall. The knee-deep water left cars, bikes, and even pedestrians stranded. Instead of celebrating the relief brought by the monsoon, citizens compared Indore's plight to that of metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune.
