Only this time, the departure is forever. Or perhaps, as her witty grandson Aariz said in his farewell speech, “until we meet again — in another multiverse.”
I found myself practically camped out in Juhu for those four days, unable to let goproximity might tether her to us for a little longer — or that she might, by some divine magic, reappear. The disorientation of her sudden departure left me searching for ways to feel close to her. I cancelled all professional engagements and spent my time with her family - who even amidst their heartbreak, carried her legacy forward with remarkable grace and dignity. Suzanne was visibly devastated, Simone held her composure with gentle courage, while Farah tried to work at copingZayed was holding it in! Together they orchestrated every detail of the rituals with fortitude and admirable dignity.
Legacy of grace & generosity
