The Free Press Journal - Bhopal
|November 25, 2025
Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka on Monday announced that the state BJP unit will launch protests across all assembly segments on November 27 and 28, followed by demonstrations at district headquarters on December 1 and 2, opposing the state government's farmer-unfriendly measures.
Speaking to reporters, Ashoka released a poster titled "Congress Government Betrayed the Farmers" and screened a short film highlighting the party's alleged anti-farmer actions. He said he will visit Kalaburagi on November 25 and Hosapete on November 26.
Criticizing the state government, Ashoka said that even after completing two and a half years, the Congress administration's rule has become a daily nightmare for farmers.
