In spaces where leadership has traditionally been defined by convention, women entrepreneurs are steadily rewriting the rules with empathy, resilience, and clarity of purpose. WOMEN LEADING CHANGE IN UNCONVENTIONAL INDUSTRIES

Seema Bansal - FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR at DCGPAC.docx 1

Q: What inspired you to step into the world of packaging, and how did you navigate the early challenges of being a woman entrepreneur in this space?

‘A: My entry into the packaging industry began with a simple realisation: every business, whether small or large, relies on packaging, yet very few understand its deeper impact on efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. I wanted to build a solution that didn’t just provide materials but solved real problems at scale. That intention laid the foundation for DCGpac.

Being a woman ina largely male-driven sector came with its own set of challenges. Many times, I walked into meeting rooms where I was the only woman. Gaining trust, managing large operational teams, and proving expertise took patience and perseverance.

Beingawoman ina largely maledriven sector came with its own set of challenges. Many times, Iwalked into meeting rooms where Iwas the only woman. Gaining trust, managing large operational teams, and proving expertise took patience and perseverance.

I focused on learning continuously, building robust systems, and staying true to my purpose. What helped me most was creating opportunities for women, fostering safe workplaces, and ensuring that our growth always aligned with positive social impact.
