We Are Accused Of Interfering With Executive And Legislative Functions': SC

The Supreme Court on Monday said that it is being accused of "interfering with executive and legislative functions" while hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking direction to the Centre to take appropriate steps to prohibit the streaming of obscene content on Over The Top (OTT) platforms.

A bench of Justices BR Gavai and AG Masih said that the issue raised in the petition is a policy matter, and it is in the policy domain of the Central government.
