Wanted Criminal Injured in Police Encounter

A suspected criminal, identified as Farman, was injured in a police encounter near Kalyan Apartment in Lucknow on Friday morning, as per UP Police officials. The incident unfolded when the Ghazipur Police were conducting an intensive vehicle and identity checking campaign as part of a broader law enforcement operation.

DCP East Shashank Singh confirmed that the incident took place during a routine patrol targeting suspicious individuals. "This morning, Ghazipur Police were conducting an intensive investigation campaign for suspicious persons in the area. During checking, the team spotted a white car without a number plate approaching. When they attempted to stop it, the driver accelerated recklessly, trying to flee," he said.
