UP BUSINESSMAN ROBBED OFF RS 26 LAKH, 6 ARRESTED

Six accused have been arrested on Wednesday for robbing a businessman of Rs 23 lakh at gunpoint in the Ghaziabad district’s Vijaynagar area over a week ago.

According to Ghazi-abad Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Nipun Agarwal, the robbery occurred on August 21st when the businessman was traveling from Gazipur market in Delhi to Dasna in Ghaziabad.
The DCP mentioned that one of the accused in the robbery was aware that there is often cash transactions in the Gazipur market in Delhi. Hence, the accused along with five others devised a plan to quickly earn money.
