As Vivah Panchami dawned — the auspicious fifth day of the bright phase of Margashirsha — Ayodhya and millions across the world celebrated the completion of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Marking the milestone, a saffron flag was hoisted atop the temple on Tuesday in a ceremony that drew national attention. Speaking at the event, Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), called the day one of “great significance for all of us”.

Calling the hoisting of the Dharma Dhwaja atop the Ram Temple” historic," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India must draw strength from its civilisational heritage while freeing itself from” the slave mentality““to achieve the goal of becoming a developed nation by .2047 Soon after raising the saffron flag ,he invoked the values associated with Lord Ram to underline the vision of building a” confident “and” future-ready India."

”Ram is not a person .He is a value .If we want to make India developed by,2047 we have to awaken Ram within ourselves .What day can be better than today for this resolution “?he said, stressing that devotion and cooperation form the fabric of Indian society.
