In every culture and spiritual tradition, parents are regarded as the first teachers and guides in a person's life.

Respecting parents is respecting God

The idea that respecting parents is equal to respecting God is deeply rooted in moral, cultural, and spiritual values. It teaches us that divinity is not only found in temples or scriptures, but also in the love, care, and sacrifices of those who gave us life.

From birth, parents become the foundation of our existence. They nurture us, protect us, and shape our character without expecting anything in return. A mother's unconditional love and a father's silent sacrifices reflect qualities often associated with the divine—compassion, patience, and selflessness. When we honor our parents, we are, in essence, honoring these divine qualities present in human form.
