RAHUL-TEJASHWI UNITE TO TAKE ON NDA IN BIHAR POLLS

Rahul Gandhi is set to make a high-voltage return to Bihar's political stage with Tejashwi Yadav, taking direct aim at the Modi-led NDA ahead of the Assembly polls.

Bihar's political temperature is set to rise further as Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav are scheduled to share the stage for the first time during the state's ongoing election season.

The two leaders will address joint rallies in Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga on October 29, marking Gandhi's debut appearance in the Bihar Assembly poll campaign. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has repeatedly questioned the Congress MP's prolonged absence from the state's election trail. Rahul Gandhi recently launched a sharp attack on the Centre over the plight of migrant workers during the festive season ,accusing the government of apathy and mismanagement in train arrangements for Biharbound passengers ahead of Chhath .Highlighting overcrowding in trains , Gandhi said that many were operating at twice their capacity despite the government's claims of deploying12,000 special trains".In Bihar, these festivals mean more than just faith-they are about longing for home, the fragrance of soil ,the warmth of family .But this longing has now become a struggle", he wrote on X ,accusing the NDA of reducing the homecoming journey to an ordeal.
