PM Modi's Nagpur visit sparks speculation on BJP's new National President

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has yet to announce the name of its new National President, and the matter is taking longer than expected.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has clarified that they will offer their opinion when asked, but for now, they are not involved in the selection process of the new BJP President.
After this statement, it is speculated that the BJP may finalize the new president's name during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Nagpur at the end of March.
Modi is scheduled to visit Nagpur on March 30, where he is expected to meet RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Several names have been discussed for the post of National President.
One prominent name that emerged earlier was that of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
She is seen as a strong contender due to her leadership as the finance minister, a position she has held for years.
Sitharaman has also made history by presenting the Union Budget for eight consecutive years.
Being from the South, she could potentially unite the northern and southern regions of India.
