PM Modi Unveils Rs 5,400-Cr Projects in Gujarat

On a two-day Gujarat visit, PM Modi rolled out rail, power and infra works while pledging support to small businesses and farmers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched development projects worth Rs 5,400 crore in Gujarat, while stressing that the fury of nature posed a challenge to humanity and underlining India's resilience against terrorism and its commitment to inclusive growth.
Addressing a gathering after inaugurating, laying foundation stones and dedicating multiple projects at Khodaldham Ground in Ahmedabad, Modi said, "There is a wonderful enthusiasm for Ganesh Utsav in the whole country. With the blessings of Ganpati Bappa, many projects related to the development of Gujarat have also been inaugurated today. It is my good fortune that I have the opportunity to dedicate them to the people of the country."
