Pawan Kalyan says Hindus face discrimination, seeks equal protection

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that Hindus are facing discrimination in the name of majority.

The concept of Hindu unity and majority is a myth. They are divided on the basis of caste, language and region.

The concept of Hindus being the majority is misleading the society. He said that the same rules that apply to Muslims and Christians in the country should be applied to Hindus as well, otherwise there will be chances of conflict if the law is implemented in one way for one and another for another.

He said that the Constitution provides equal rights to all religions and justice is equal for all. He spoke to the media after the Mata Manti program with the employees of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department on Wednesday.
