Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee, aiming at a fourth straight term as West Bengal Chief Minister, has set a target of bagging three-fourth of the seats in the 2026 Assembly polls.

Addressing leaders of her party at the Netaji Indoor Stadium here on Thursday, Mamata Banerjee set a 215-plus seat target.
She predicted a major setback for the BJP in the upcoming elections but claimed that the BJP had hatched a conspiracy to revise the electoral rolls packed with "outsiders to occupy Bengal". Mamata said the manipulation was being carried out in the Assembly seats where the BJP's losing margin was narrow in the 2021 elections.
