LAWRENCE BISHNOI GANG-BABBAR KHALSA NEXUS CASE: NIA CHARGESHEETS 22ND ACCUSED

The National Investigation Agency has filed charges against a 22nd accused, Rahul Sarkar, in the 2022 Lawrence Bishnoi gang and Babbar Khalsa International terror-gangster nexus case, officials confirmed on Monday.

Registered as RC-39/2022/NIA/DLI, the case involves a terror conspiracy orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in collabora tion with the proscribed BKI outfit, aimed at spreading terror across India.

In its 5th charge sheet, submitted before the NIA Special Court, Patiala House, Delhi, the agency has accused Rahul Sarkar of fa cilitating terror activities for the Bishnoi gang. Investiga tions revealed that Sarkar helped gang members flee the country by creating and providing forged identity documents, including Aad haar cards, voter IDs, and bank passbooks.
