KKR Dominate SRH With 80-Run Win At Eden Gardens

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) put up a powerful performance at Eden Gardens, crushing Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 80 runs in their latest IPL 2025 clash.
The defending champions showcased their all-round excellence, as a stellar batting display from Venkatesh Iyer, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Rinku Singh, followed by a clinical bowling effort led by Varun Chakravarthy and Vaibhav Arora, secured their second win of the tournament.
Opting to bat first, KKR got off to a shaky start, losing Quinton de Kock (1) and Sunil Narine (7) in the powerplay.
Both fell early to Pat Cummins and Mohammed Shami, leaving KKR in trouble at 16/2 within 2.3 overs.
However, a steadying partnership between captain Ajinkya Rahane and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi helped revive the innings.
Rahane played a captain's knock, scoring 38 off 27 balls, which included four sixes and a boundary, before being dismissed by Zeeshan Ansari.
Raghuvanshi, on the other hand, impressed once again, bringing up his second IPL fifty.
