Judge Blocks Lively's Emotional Distress Claims in Lawsuit Against Baldoni

In a dramatic turn in the ongoing legal battle between actress Blake Lively and filmmaker Justin Baldoni, a federal judge has ruled in favor of Baldoni, rejecting Lively's attempt to voluntarily dismiss her emotional distress claims from their high-profile lawsuit.
The ruling, issued by Judge Lewis J. Liman of the Southern District of New York, comes just months ahead of the trial scheduled to begin on March 9, 2025, in New York City. According to Deadline, the lawsuit revolves around allegations related to the production of the film 'It Ends with Us', including Lively's claims of emotional distress, sexual harassment, and retaliation against Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios.
