ISSF World C’ship Rifle-Pistol: India finishes with 13 medals; Gurpreet misses gold

Olympian Gurpreet Singh came agonizingly close to becoming the World Champion in the 25m Centre Fire Pistol event, losing out on the gold medal on inner 10’s to Ukraine's Pavlo Korostylovat the Olympic Shooting Range in Cairo, Egypt during the ISSF World Championship Rifle/Pistol on Monday.

This is Gurpreet’s second individual medal in World Championships; the first one was also a silver, won back in 2018 at Changwon in the 25m Standard Pistol event. Yann Pierre Louis Fridrici of France won the bronze, as per a press release from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI.
