India setting global benchmark in satellite communications: Scindia

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia, underscored India’s pioneering role in the satellite communications (Satcom) revolution at the Satcom Summit, held on the first day of the Indian Mobile Congress 2025 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.
Addressing experts and industry leaders from around the world on the theme “Space Networks for Universal Connectivity,” Scindia highlighted India’s rapid advancements in the Satcom sector under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Minister described India as not just keeping pace with global technological progress but now setting the global benchmark in satellite communications.
