Maken-led screening panel hasatough task at hand

Factionalism and internal conflicts have been major challenges for Congress in Haryana. These conflicts have weakened the party’s organization and made it harder to present a united strategy and compete in elections.
To address factionalism, Congress has formed a screening committee to ensure no single faction dominates the ticket selection process. Ajay Maken, the committee chairman, and other members are close to Rahul Gandhi. Congress in Haryana is divided over ticket distribution and the potential Chief Ministerial candidate. However, it is expected that the party will not name a Chief Ministerial face for now.
