Fadnavis, Malviya demand apology from Rahul Gandhi

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and BJP IT Department head Amit Malviya on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi after Lokniti-CSDS admitted to an error in its data on the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, which had formed the basis of Gandhi's allegations of large-scale voter fraud.

Fadnavis branded Gandhi a “serial liar” and said he must apologise for misleading the public. “The data was given by CSDS, and based on that Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission and delegitimised our elected government. Today, CSDS has accepted that their data was wrong and apologised. Now, will Rahul Gandhi apologise? I don’t expect that, but truth has come before the public,” Fadnavis told reporters.
